Magnolias Midwifery LLC
Empowering you & your growing family
At Magnolias Midwifery, we believe in informed choice and evidence-based decision making rooted deeply within patient-centered care. Specializing in low-risk, planned-out-hospital pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum care, you’ll find that our care team will support you every step of the way in the greater Puget Sound region of Washington.
This care includes prenatal check-ups, labor & birth support, and frequent postpartum visits for both you and your baby in an out-of-hospital setting.
Services we offer
Continued care for low-risk pregnancies with midwifery appointments as early as 10 weeks, followed by care visits every four weeks until 28-32 weeks of pregnancy, then every two weeks until 36 weeks, and finally weekly appointments from 36 weeks until delivery. The frequency may change as medically indicated if complications arise.
Prenatal Care
Continuous support during active labor and throughout birth following a complete labor assessment. We combine traditional skills with modern medicine, while honoring your birth preferences. Our team is highly skilled and trained to recognize and respond to complications, collaborating with and transferring to higher risk providers when medically necessary.
Labor and Birth
Comprehensive postpartum care that includes monitoring your physical recovery, assisting with breastfeeding, minor perineal repairs and providing emotional and mental health support for the first 6 weeks postpartum, while also monitoring your newborn baby’s health for the first 2 weeks postpartum.
